Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how "Stokki" ("the App") handles user data. Registered item information and photos are stored on your device. For purchase management, app improvement, understanding usage, and feature configuration, certain device information and aggregated usage information may be sent to third-party services, or configuration values may be obtained from third-party services.
Translation note: The Japanese version is the original and controlling text. Translations are provided for reference only. If there is any discrepancy between the Japanese version and a translation, the Japanese version prevails.
Section 1

Types of Data Collected

  1. 1. User-entered data: Item names, categories, quantities, sizes, storage locations, descriptions, photos, and creation/update timestamps (stored on your device).
  2. 2. Device permissions and information: The App does not collect location data, contacts, microphone access, or similar data. Third-party services may process device IDs, OS/app version, locale, and similar information to the extent necessary for purchase management and usage understanding.
  3. 3. Purchase & subscription data: We use RevenueCat (USA) SDK for in-app purchase management. Purchase history, subscription status, anonymous device ID, OS/app version, and locale are sent to RevenueCat's servers. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
  4. 4. Usage and configuration-related information: We may handle aggregated usage information and information necessary to obtain configuration values for app improvement, usage understanding, and feature configuration. User-entered content such as item names, photos, notes, and storage locations is not included.
  5. 5. App Store usage: Apple may collect anonymous, aggregated app download and usage data (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy). The developer does not receive personally identifiable information.

How Data Is Used

  1. 1. App functionality: To provide core features including item registration, display, search, photo attachment, and optimization.
  2. 2. Support: Information provided via the contact form is used solely to respond to inquiries.

Storage & Retention

  1. 1. Storage: Registered item information, photos, and other data necessary for the App to operate are stored on your device.
  2. 2. Retention: Data is retained until deleted by the user or the app is uninstalled.
  3. 3. Backup: There is no server-side backup. Data may be lost due to device failure, OS updates, or uninstallation.

Third-Party Data Sharing

  1. 1. No sharing of user data: User-entered data (items, photos) is never shared with third parties.
  2. 2. RevenueCat SDK: Subscription-related data (purchase history, anonymous device ID, etc.) is sent to RevenueCat Inc. for purchase management. User-entered data is not sent.
  3. 3. Third-party services such as Firebase: We may use external services such as Firebase to send the usage and configuration-related information described above, or to obtain configuration values. Information sent or obtained is limited to aggregated information and information necessary to obtain configuration values. User-entered data such as item information, photos, notes, and storage locations is not sent.
  4. 4. OTA updates: The app may fetch updated code via over-the-air delivery. No user-entered data is transmitted.

Device Permissions

  1. 1. Camera: Used to photograph items.
  2. 2. Photo Library: Used to select photos from your device.
  3. 3. Permissions are not active unless granted by the user. You can change them at any time in your device settings.

Your Rights

  1. 1. Access, edit & delete: You can view, edit, and delete your registered data within the app at any time.
  2. 2. Revoke permissions: You can disable camera/photo access in your device settings at any time.
  3. 3. Data erasure: Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data.

Security

  1. 1. User-entered data is stored in the app's sandbox on your device and is not transmitted externally. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. We recommend using a device passcode or biometric authentication.

Changes to This Policy

  1. 1. This policy may be updated without prior notice. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
